4 Tips and tricks for clear and healthy skin

It’s almost the end of the year and soon we will welcome a new year. If you were not able to keep your resolution of taking better care of your skin this past year, you can try again for the year of 2018. You do not need a complicated system to keep your skin healthy and clear of irritations. You can follow the tips below for a healthier and glowing skin for the next year.

1. Make sure you are hydrated – hydration is a very big factor in keeping your skin clear and healthy. If you’ve ever experienced having a dry throat, you know that drinking a lot of water can keep that feeling of dryness away. The same is true for our skin. If you don’t want your skin to feel dry and stretchy, make sure you are always hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Also, you can slather on some moisturizer so that your skin will feel replenished.

2. Keep a healthy diet and exercise regularly – while there are those who are very much willing to spend a lot of money on an array of skin products designed to make the skin look good, you may not be one of those. If you want to get healthier-looking skin without having to spend too much money, opt for eating a healthier diet and regularly exercising. When you lack exercise, that also means there is not enough oxygen traveling to your skin cells. Also, if you’re one of those who likes to eat in fast food joints, you’re not doing anything good for your skin. They do not give nutrients to your skin, unlike fruits and vegetables. Make sure to eat a balanced diet and eat foods that can fight free radicals which cause most of the problems in our skin.

3. Establish a skin care routine and be consistent with it – if you are serious about taking better care of your skin, you need to have an established skin care routine. Countries that are known for their skin care regimen, such as Korea and Japan, actually have as many as 10-11 steps in their daily routine. If you feel that this is too much for you, you can just do a simple routine. What’s important is that you are consistent. Some steps that you should never forget is to always put sunscreen and to never go to bed without removing your makeup.

4. Exfoliate regularly – another thing that you should do regularly is to exfoliate regularly. This is not something that should be done daily as it can cause irritation on your skin. When you exfoliate regularly, you can rid your skin of the layers of dead skin cells and all the accumulated dirt that can cause pore blockage. Your skin naturally glows when you exfoliate regularly. This process has been around for years and can even be traced to ancient skin practices. If you want to know more, check out https://microdermamitt.com// to get more information.
