Lace Up Skirt

A wise woman once said that you can never move on with your life and build a future until you let go of the past. And I said that is a rough generalization. But things we say and laugh about at some point have a nasty habit of returning to bite us later on.

I left so many things and people behind that sometimes I wonder if it's a bad thing. But without all of that happening to me, I wouldn't be who I am now. And I am growing wiser, more mature and more educated every single day.

Now I am on a new journey and looking forward to new adventures. Keeping my eyes always closely on the prize and on all the people I care about. My life is most definitely not how I imagined it would be, but I am more blessed than ever.

P.S. This skirt with lace up cut outs... It rocks, doesn't it? :)
